23 June 2009 - by Brainmaker Auto Change Gear settings for Online Poker Inspector using pokerbrains.net profiles.
Making it more difficult for your opponents to track your playing style.
There is an option in the Online Holdem Inspector to change the active profile to another profile when an certain number of hands are played or playing time has . This is called the auto change gear (to secondary profile) settings. You have this setting available when you go to: Setup, Load Profile. On the bottom of the window you have two options to activate. The auto switch profile and the auto change gear. Check mark the auto change gear and the setup button can be clicked. The auto change gear options window will then appear. You can select to make the changes effective based on the time or on the number of hands played. Set the number of "every" hands to 75 and the "for" to 30 hands. And finally set the Auto-switch frequency to 100%. With these settings you will automatically change your primary loaded profile into the secondary profile for every 75 hands played for 30 hands and then the primary defualt profile will be loaded back again to continue your primary profile way of playing. When you are going to use the Auto Change Gear settings properly you are able to distort the statistics of pokertracker database players with their HUD's to make their optimum playing decisions against you. You are also able to exploit certain characteristics in your primary poker profile to make advantage in your short burst of playing with your secondary poker profiles with some opposite playing strategies. For example: Assume your primary profile is always betting with an made hand and check calling when he is drawing for an flush. Your secondary profile is capable of betting out on the flop, turn and river with an flush draw and even an missed flush draw on the river. Any statistical PT/HUD player wil believe you have an made hand and is more prone to folding against your bluff exhibited in your 30 hands of playing with your secondary profile. And when they call you they will be surprised you are "suddenly" semi-bluffing and they are not sure more of the other times you are and were betting with an made hand and what to do against you (probably paying you more often). This is a good thing. Try experimenting with the auto change gear numbers but do not overdo it. It have to be subtle to keep in line of good poker playing and keep them wondering about your playing strategies. And the best aproach is to have your primary profile being the tight one and the secondary more loose and/or more agressive.
